This summer, members of the Tolley team have undertaken a series of sporting events including the Lake District and Peak District Ultra Challenges, the Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) 24-hour challenge, and a 24-hour sponsored gym event in collaboration with our local gym, with the aim of raising at least £3,000. The total currently sits at over £3,500.
The team at Tolley place empahsis on enhancing the patient voice by supporting patient organisations related to the work we have conducted, whilst trying to keep fit at the same time. This years’ chosen charity was Duchenne UK, the leading UK charity supporting families living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), following our involvement with Project HERCULES, a ground breaking multinational collaboration set up by Duchenne UK to develop tools and evidence to support Health Technology Assessments and reimbursement decisions for new treatments for DMD.
