In September 2023, Tolley Health Economics Ltd were delighted to celebrate Amryt Pharma’s (now Chiesi group) success as NICE recommended birch bark extract (also known as Filsuvez®) for epidermolysis bullosa (EB), also known as Butterfly Skin as people living with EB have skin as fragile as a butterfly’s wing. Since then, the Tolley team have been working with the EB charity, DEBRA UK, to raise awareness of people living with this extremely painful and debilitating skin condition to #StopThePain of EB.
Directors Keith Tolley and Amanda Strickson, along with Head of Clinical Operations Christine Worsley, will be taking part in a 100K challenge walk in the beautiful Peak District on the 6th July 2024 to raise awareness and funds. There will also be other fundraising activities such as a 24-hour sponsored run, row, spin, and ski later this month, in collaboration with a local Buxton gym.
